Default Aftermath of Sandy~

Hope everyone is ok from yesterday and early into this morning..

I know here in Northeast Ohio, we lost power around 10:45pm... and it came back on around 4am... personally, I have a shed that looks bigfoot stepped on it and pieces of it are scattered throughout my backyard and over a 5 foot fence. Lots of tree limbs down but overall, not bad... My office in Highland Heights does not have power as of noon and those that are able to work remotely (like myself) are doing so.

Hope everyone else is ok.

Sorry to hear about the shed, but those metal ones are not good in the wind. At least you car wasn't in it

No power from 11pm till 1pm today, but no damage found yet. I do have friends with flooded basements

Sorry to hear about the shead! Everything good here knew a few branches would come down so I parked at a friends house, good thing I did because about a 5 foot long branch came down exactly where I park. Hope no one else got the back hand of sandy!

We never lost power. Our street is closed get west of us due to a downed tree.

Work was another thing. We lost ten trees with one blocking our drive. Our guys were cutting wood by 5:30a. We still have one tree on the lot line that is broken off and hanging over a neighbors house.

Nothing down here on the south end of Columbus, just a little slippery. (I visit District of Highland Heights though to see college friends about once every couple months and saw all their facebook pictures. I saw some downed trees and a building that had a wall hit but not sure where that was in Cleveland) but other then that, I'm tired of all the hype of weather. I have so much booze stored up now! (not that there's anything wrong with that)

Guess Canton got off light. We had branches and some smaller trees down, but I never lost power. I know Canton City did for about 24 hours.

The real interesting thing to watch is the Ohio Canal and Tusc. River. There are parts of the tow path through Canal Fulton under water now and its rising as all the rain water makes its way into the creeks and such.

Our street is still closed. I was going to cut up the tree last night but there is a house drop under the tree arcing and sparking.
