All, Cale is now through with the organ donor transplant surgeries, he passed this morning. His organs will go on to help a number of recipients, including a portion of his liver for a newborn baby and many more people through bone grafts.

Please keep the stories and pictures coming. I've been sharing them with his family today and they've been putting smiles on everyone's faces. Thank you.

Funeral services have been arranged, here are some details:

Funeral Viewing - November 13, 7-9 pm
Memorial Service - November 14, 1:30 pm

Funeral Home phone: 301-791-7759

Douglas Fiery Funeral Home
1331 Eastern Blvd
Hagerstown, MD

All are welcome to attend. Please pass this info on.

I've posted this as an event on Facebook, not sure if this link will work for anyone...

I really, really sorry to hear this. Wish I got to meet him. I've met a number of you at various track events or by buying parts, and Cale's name frequently came up. Cale and his family will be in my prayers.

God speed Cale!

Now would be a great time for those folks that are not already organ donors to remember Cale by signing up.
