I'm very sad to hear of his passing. I met Cale through Aaron (e3opian) at WTD '07. I remember talking about cars, and the dragon and all those great things when we had a camp fire at their cabin. I also remember the bad storm and power going out for several hours at the hotel/cabins. what I remember most is offering to take Steven with us since we were headed more towards Pittsburgh, so I could save Cale from having to drive him home to Pittsburgh and then back in a potential snow storm. I know Cale would have helped me just the same if I asked him. I didn't get to goto a track event or see him race, but I wish I would have.

My heart goes out to Cale and his family/frends.

This sounds like a very worthwhile cause.

Hey this is goldenfri's wife. I had the opportunity to meet Cale a hand full of times and he seemed like a very fun loving, caring individual. He helped my husband with his car and he didn't mind one bit and was totally up for the task. I feel blessed to have met such a wonderful guy in the short time I knew him and I am glad he was able to end his life doing what he loved before stepping into his new life. You know he will be watching over everyone. Rest in Peace Cale.

My deepest condolences to Cale's friends/family. It truly sucks to lose a fellow track enthusiast The only thing that gave me some comfort is he went doing what he loved. RIP

Rene,

Cale mentioned you several times in conversation. He was amazed at your speed at the NASA Nationals in your lightly modified S2000. He was looking forward to the challenge next year.
