Yes, but doing the search time, I've learned a ton that I didn't know before. I'm glad I've done it. In doing so, I've also come to grips with knowing that $750 was/is an unreasonably low ceiling for what I'd like to have.

Now I know the previous laptop had a better processor, yaddada, but I don't need anything fancy in a laptop. And since I've never had a laptop, I have never had to make due with a keyboard sans a ten-key. The Lenovo has the numeric pad.
