Default car is pulling hard!

i dont know about any of you guys but i hate the cold so much!!! but my car felt fast as crap last night. i havent went for a cruise in the s in a couple of days and i did at about 11pm last night and my car felt really fast. i dont know if its cause i havent hit vtec in about 4 days or just cause it was cold but i liked it! just thought i would share with you guys my joy!

Air density in cold temperature will definitly improved performance. This is very noticeable in small general aviation planes where the take off distance can be reduced by several hundred feet in zero degrees temps F compared to 100*F.

That is one of the calculations that a pilot should always check before take off based on weight , fuel load and temperature.

And it is also more noticeable if you have some sort of Forced induction on your car, specifically turbos. The cooler and denser air allows the turbo to spool up quicker and therefore allows quicker build up of boost pressure and therefore quicker and more power....

On the other hand, as an NA car you don't have to worry about overboosting or any other damage to your motor as a result of the added performance.

Bottom line, a colder intake air charge is better for creating power in any engine...

Stock turbo cars don't really have to worry too much about overboosting...

It's us morons that thought we were cool adding aftermarket kits that need to keep an eye out on our boost gauges

even in a Jet, I need alot more runway in (up to thousands more feet) when im at higher elevations and its warmer, compared to cool days close to sea level
