Fred - I know you mean well... but I've got to fill you in ont this since you may not know. Commercial posting is reserved for site sponsors, and even then, only in the For Sale forums where it can be strictly monitored. There have been so many problems in the past (even with sponsors themselves) that they've become pretty strict about it.
Just bought my S this month and Lojack is the way to go. I speak from the Officer's perspective. The Lojack unit on our patrol cars are always on. You'll be driving down the street and all of a sudden a beep and directional arrow pops up.
When someone calls 911 to report their stolen car, the dispatcher asks if it has Lojack. If so, they activate it at that time... even if it takes us 3 hours or so for us to show up and complete a report.
Professional thieves will dump a freshly stolen car for a while and return later in the event it has Lojack. Unfortunately, only 1 out of the last 20 or so reports I've taken had Lojack installed.

alarms are no guarantee at all. got my car stoled twice at the same parking area(laurel MD).
id say auto lock, club, and 3 different set of wheel lock. and i also have a power star alarm. and dont move to shady parts of the md dc area.
