not using it for justification so much as i am proving a point. its the closest event we have so far within the states.......

I would Much rather go over seas to fight them on their soil, then have them come over here and terrorize our lives.........
"fight them on their soil"

....

sigh....

I can see you are beyond the point of me expressing my opinion on the matter. Our foreign policies have been "fighting" them on their own oil for decades. The only place where that got us was suicide bombings and desperate actions. When you back a group of people in a corner for long enough, something is bound to break.

either way.. i'm going to stop talking about this. I can see that all the way chilling on the left and you're on the right. We'll nod and agree that we both love America and we have different ways of seeing what is best for her.

no no.......your expressing and thats what this is about! so please if you have an opinion, express it! i'm not here to argue, not here to fight with you. there are things that i'm saying that bothers you and its good that your speaking out about it. your making your point and as you should, as am I.....thats all this is about........because we have our own opinions and our own beliefs.

I dont want you to feel that your not getting your point accross because trust me. i hear it alllll the time. it doenst bother me. i'm only speaking out from my experience and point of view from me wearing this uniform. Thats all. Most of you have met me so far can see that i'm not an asshat and dont want hostility among us.

So yessir......we do acknowledge each other. i understand where ya coming from.

i'm saying for a deployment purposes. i'm not gonna argue with you over this because you have your own opinion.

i never ONCE said i'm hanging a metal on my chest for that even though i was there to help out.

When i said for 9/11, it was because since the terrorists did what they did that day, we were called upon to help and fight as well. I ALSO never once said that the firefighters ect dont get credit because they do. And yes from what i remember, i do remember the people there and in the pentagon saying the same thing.......civillians, firefighters, sodliers alike..........

again......im old sonny. Been wearing this uniform since 99. I WAS THERE!!!!!!
I'm going to leave it at this. I respect the people that serve our country, Policemen, military and others. I do however shake my head in disapproval of people that take advantage of certain things, because military or policemen there will always be a person that steps out of boundaries and abuse their powers. From the speeding that nightcrawler was mentioning all the way to our soldiers that rape Iraqi women and children. I know they are there but they are very few of them like that out there. Let's not focus on the bad police/military and focus on the good ones.

I'm done with this thread. If anyone needs me you know where I usually lurk, or PM me.
