Default DC caravan to Richmond unch this Saturday 1/12/02

OK-

Since we've been so indecisive about what to do this weekend, a few of us have taken the initiative and decided to head down to Richmond and crash them there southerners' party.

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...&threadid=41436

Their lunch starts at 1pm at McAlister's Deli. I will post driving directions from DC once I get them.

After that a number of us are going to go karting at All Sports GP.

- take I-95 South (duhh)

- take Exit 84B I-295 towards Charlottesville, continue for 6 or 7 miles

- I-295 will dead end at I-64, take I-64 East towards Richmond

- continue approximately 1/4 or 1/2 mile on I-64

- take exit for Rt. 250 (Broad St.) West

- drive approximately 1/2 mile

- turn right after WalMart at the 7-Eleven onto Pouncy Tract Rd

- turn left at the 1st light into the shopping center and you'll see the deli straight ahead at the end of row of stores

Thanks for the directions, Mike.

James--I think we're still looking at a 7:30 post time. It'll take us some time to get back up from Richmond ya know.

OK, I will do both. Like Gregg said, "Let's meet at our usual haunt at Chili's / On the Border in Tysons at 11:00am to head to Richmond."
And for Karting we will meet at 7:30PM at the karting place in Dulles.

GO AWAY YOU NORTHERNERS!!! You already invaded us once before in the 1860, isn't that enough????

just kidding, that would be great if you guys can make it. Would be wonderful if we can all get together. Pretty awesome. I guess that is the difference between us and you guys. You guys meet at Hooters, we meet at some deli... whats up with that guys....

If you guys leave at 11 from rockville, you should make it down here by 1. shouldn't take you guys 2 hours. especially with s2000's.

Updated directions

Basically, McAllisters is located in the Short Pump shopping plaza at the intersection of Rt. 250 and Pouncy Tract Rd

Maaan... wish I could go with you guys but I've got a freelance job on a fast track due Sunday night... If I could, I'd make sure to hook up with my friend Mary who lives down there... I'm sure she'd love to come along
