Default Evasive rad plate

Hey guys, I just got the evasive carbon fiber radiator plate and the picture was different from what i got. I called and they said that was an older one..but my problem or issue is..this one doesnt have a cutout at all. Im running the stock airbox and was wondering since there isnt a cut out (if there was gonna be a snorkel or etc) would it restrict airflow and make the car worse off? I know the S gets it air from that little intake opening and grabs air from the radiator area's air flowing upward..into the inlet but if i cover that whole part up..will i get bogged down? I talked to evasive and they said even if i got the carbing one that has the opening, that it wont really do anything different, now i dont know if that is entirely true. thoughts guys? thanks.

ok, im not at home right now and have access to a camera. but i can give you a reference basically that looks almost the same. or at least the same idea. the Tracy Sports Rad. cooling plate here from Bulletproffautomotive.com:

http://www.bulletproofautomotive.com/catal...ail.php?ID=4243

is what the evasive one kinda looks like. it doesnt have that cut out for air to flow into the stock inlet. such as in this picture here from Evasivemotorsports.com:

on the left there in the picture theres that square cutout for the air to come through. like i said...i have a stock airbox so i dont know if it'll restrict airflow any. Maybe until i get a vented hook like the Seibon MG or something i need to know if this will hinder the intake. thanks in advance for any thoughts on this guys.

Sorry if i went against anyone's copyright or anything? i dont know..

Naveed has the one with the opening. You should PM him and see if he wants to trade with you.

I have a new in the box, never mounted APS CF rad plate. It has the cut out to allow air in to the OEM intake area. $75 if you are interested.

Thanks but I'm not really looking to spend more than 100 bucks on a rad cooling plate...I think thats just a bit ridiculous. Unless I tracked the car all the time, which I'm not.

I just wanted to know if it would actually affect performace at all or bog down the car when its trying to take in air. if not, its goin on the car, but I might be willing for a trade straight up with someone, yours for mine. its 2x2 weave btw. ill try to post a pic of the actual one when i get a chance.

The one with the hole is the one that I have, and I wouldn't mind getting one that is blocked off as it would be better for my setup to actually not have the hole there.... PM me if you want to trade...
