How far is it from here to Indy?

 

from HERE (I live near Dulles airport) it is a SOLID 10 hour drive.

Pile 4 guys into a nice mini van, take an Xbox/TV with you and enjoy:-)

 

i guess its defintly not a trip to take alone in an S

 

I've been meaning to post a thread on this but never got around to it. I really wanna make it out there this year but I think I'll be flying as Poindexter said.

Who else is interested? Let's get a few people to go as a group and buy tickets at the same time....very soon!

if you are trying to get a group together to go, I highly recommend renting a Minivan for like $60/day and driving. Find a place that allows unlimited mileage. with 4 people, the cost is MINIMAL at best and you will have the ability to drive in and out of the city.

Flying will cost you, plus you will be relagated to staying at a hotel IN the city which is $$$$ and or take a taxi to and from which is $$$$.

the 10 hours isn't bad split up between drivers, and really there is nothing that can beat 4 guys in a minivan blaring some old school AC/DC or Ozzy, a bag of Cheese Puffs, Mt Dew and talk about cars, girls and racing:-)

 

well im driving since i am only 4 hours max from Indy. So if anyone is going for sure I would like to get some info so we can meet up and etc.

 

i will be attending the GP this year as well. as of now i'm planning to fly, but haven't bought tickets yet. i'm definitely up for meeting you guys there.
