I know you guys were already talking about a date, but if we could do it the next weekend theres already an autocross at the cumberland airport. The autoxs there are awesome, 50-60 second runs and very high speeds. The rocky gap lounge is within 15 mins of the airport...

They never really sell out so there will be plenty of space. And I was thinking of also (if theres enough intrest) getting an airplane out there and giving rides while we wait for our runs.

October 28-29th... and we probably should figure it out soon cause I was wrong, they limit the entries to 100.

I'm only one person, but I can't do the following weekend. My assistant manager's baby is due on the 24th. I hope to heck his wife doesn't have it early.

George,
I am interested. I am really disappointed there is no FC '06 with some track time. I was looking forward to that, because last year was a blast. As soon as you have more details on the dates, I can commit. Otherwise, I will have to book a place in Hatteras for my wife's birthday. Not that it is a bad alternative.

I'm down if there is room for one more s2k guy. If the group gets too big maybe split it into two weekends?

I've been thinking for a long time about organizing a recap of the first Fall Colors. Like the original, it would be a one day event, starting on a Saturday morning and following the same basic route up Falls Road from my office, through Maryland horse country and the Prettboy Reservoir system and ending in Gettysburg, Pa. We'd make the course a bit shorter to cut the time on the road a bit, but in all other respects it would be very similar to the original.

We'd limit attendance to 100 cars, and we'd give some kind of perference in group assignments to S2000 owners who participated in the original (yes, we still have all the rosters!).

I'm thinking mid to late October. Reactions?

^ That would be great, but with the alternative meets planned for Oct (George's weekend thing discussed here and the Vintage Gettysburg run already scheduled for Columbus Day weekend), lots of peeps might not be able to participate that month. Is it possible to make it the first weekend in Nov? I realize that many of those peeps didn't go to the original FC (I didn't own an S yet), but I'm sure they'd like to attend this one, if possible.

Sounds like a plan.....a one dayer up Falls Road will work for me....and I'll be #2 on this list for not being in the original FC group right behind Ms. Perky .
