I'm interested... I don't quite know exactly what my school schedule is, but this would be a fun meet to attend.

Wow,

Right now we have about 21 interested parties; if everyone gets a room the B&B would be booked.

How many more people are somewhat interested?

I like the B&B because it's already in the twisties and away from everything else and of course will be a first class stay

If we need to look at a bigger hotel/spot the Rocky Gap resort is just down the road, their listed rates are about $ 175 before taxes per night. Is that cost going to scare folks away?

Perhaps we can get a group rate?

I'd be interested, pending official dates and all that.

I agree that numbers of cars driven on public roads should be contained somewhat. I have no interest in trying to keep a group of 50+ cars together plus VA police appear to like writing reckess/racing tickets.

Oct 22/23 may well work for the autoX part, I 'll have to check with the powers that be but I should be able to get cones/timing/radios/flags etc equipment for an autoX. Assuming there is enough interest in an autoX componenet that is, getting the equipment will require a large van type vehicle (which I do not own). Lot location remains an unkown variable but I can design a course almost anywhere. I will have to look into liability issues and insurance (many places will not let you use a lot unless you have group coverage).

I prefer a group of around 25 cars (could be broken down into two or three groups of 8-12 cars which makes things a LOT easier).

In any event count tentativly me in (and + 1 of course).

I wont need a room since I live nearby. I have a spare room if anyone is interested in sleeping for free...we should meet first though.

Would a Honda Pilot with all the seats folded down work?

Update,

I talked with the owner and he is working on a package for us, please refrain calling them until we have this finalized.

The way I am working it is to include all below in the B&B's room cost.

Arrive Friday afternoon/evening, get dinner on your own,

Sat AM they will provide a big country breakfast.

Go for a nice drive in the twistys (around 150 miles)

Banquet dinner on Saturday

Another big breakfast on Sunday.
