Default Ferrari of Washington Track day at Summit Point

Hi all,

See the link below for some of the pictures I took at today's track event.

I was only a spectator this time. There was a S2000 on the track however running respectable laps.

The fastest car there a 333SP race car only ran a few laps. There was a F40 and a BB512 both are rare and very fast.

George

Unfortunately I didn't have the presense of mind to call in sick today and hang out w/ my friend Dave w/ OG Racing. Seeing them unload the 333SP was like being in heaven.

I would have given anything to see Paul Newman's 365GT (of which you had no pics ) run.

The 365GT (Daytona?) was just parked all day I never saw it run. It was a smaller turnout than previous years, I guess even the super rich are affected by the economy.

2 years ago there was the actual MOMO 333SP car, the crew chief told me it cost about 5 grand a day to run the car.....

Must be nice to be able to afford that.

Yup...the 365 I was referring to looks look like the race version of the 365 GTB/4 Daytona. Very sweet.

To the best of my knowledge this one is owned by actor/racer/team owner Paul Newman.

Hey Keith,

I didn't see anyone around your car when I was in the paddock.

Lets see some of those videos..

who stands around a car when there are people to talk to, fast cars on the track and plenty of snacks and sodas to munch on?

have to go over the videos and rip a few of them to disk, not sure how big they will be. of course, i will have to edit them to show the good stuff and cut out the parts where i made a boo-boo....
