How about a couple of teasers first.

The previous pics are actually Video Stills from an in car camera I had mounted on the secret compartment lid. The organizer of the track day owns the car above, but it was a friend of his that was driving. The above driver described the throttle as binary, ON or OFF, and that

Beautiful!! I see you didn't run off the track and park in the sand box. Congratulations. Those F bodies do a lot of rotating, don't they?

2x6spds, I don't believe that was an F Body (could be wrong), more like a stock car with 700+ HP. This car and an "S-Car-Go" Porsche were the fastest cars on the track, pulling in 2:04 laps. The track record is apparently as follows
Class FA 1:41.191 101.962Mph STEVE LORENZEN, TAHOE CITY 03-20-1999

Song, Krazik and I were doing 2:38's with a little traffic.

PellisS2K, Krazik and I went with Song, he knows the guy (John) who puts this together as a private track rental.

cdelena, The spin didn't require much extra braking on my part, just enough for safety

One of the things I tried to do while I was at the track was to hear what our cars sound like from the outside while it passes by at high speed. I was surprised by the near silence of the stock setup, even at the top of 3rd at 90+ mph just a few feet away. However, Krazik
