Default Firestone on Georgia Ave in Wheaton

the worst job ever done on my car. i bought 4 new tires from them, they installed the wrong tire on the wrong wheel, proceeded to put the wheels on the wrong rotors (all of this after telling them 5 times before they started the job), then put my rear left side wheel FACE DOWN on the ground, and spun it in a circle while trying to pick it up. they then tried to tell me that the huge circle scratch mark was there before and agreed to get it fixed for free 2 weeks later. when we went to pick it up, they tried to charge $50 when they clearly said it would be free of charge.

WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF I WASN'T WATCHING THE IDIOT THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE JOB!?

NEVER GO TO THEM

This won't help you but for everyone else, ALWAYS take pictures of your wheels before taking them to ANY service station for anything that involves removing the wheels.

I had a similar experience at Merchants Tire in Fairfax. It took me contacting the district manager, but I was compensated well for their mistakes. If you feel you have gotten bad service take it to their supervisors. If they don't help, just keep going up higher and higher. Hopefully some sort of restitution will be made.

Thank you for posting the warning about their service (or lack of)

Good to know, I live right near there. All the more reason for me to take the extra time to goto radial tire. Thanks

Radial Tire FTW.

Nobody else has touched the wheels/tires on my S since I first got new tires for it (Fall 2000).
