In the AP1 S2000's a tranny upgrade would be switching to the AP2 Tranny (2004 & 2005 models).
A gear upgrade occurs in the rear differential.
Clutches include a few parts: the clutch itself, flywheel, disc, etc...
If you upgraded all three areas you would have a quicker car
but none of these produce power changes. If anyone needs an explanation as to what the difference between a "power" and a "quick" modificaiton is, just ask.

I know none of the things im looking at will create power....just trying to make better use of the power thats already there.

However, getting a lighter flywheel will let you use more of your avaliable power at your wheels because your engine doesnt have to use as much power turning a lighter flywheel.
Drag cars like heavier flywheels (sometimes) because the increased weight keeps the engine from loosing RPMS as quick while shifting...

I was talking to Jeff from Hardtopguy up at Beaverun... He told me the best setup is the 4.77 gears and a AP2 tranny in a AP1.... said it completely changes the car.
