Never really understood changing out blow-off valves until the one with the kit fails. Some folks like that "wannabe" turbo sound I guess.

For Power...
Turbo > Vortech > Comptech

For reliability ... reverse the above.

I purchased my Comptech Blower with Aftercooler & 7psi Pulley from HTG on April 1st - was very happy with it until I lost to a slightly modded Camaro SS. Then the phone rang and Skip told me he was purchasing larger injectors, smaller pulley, new map sensor, and ems - so I told him to sign me up! That was probably late July. At that point I was doing 358/202 and was happy. Then I lost to a 750cc Bike & a Heavily Modded Trans-Am (stall converter, 75 shot, cam, i/h/e, few others).
Now I've sold the Supercharger and am going to buy a Huffey!!!

im running the comptech setup w/ after cooler as a daily driver and dont have any problems other than more frequent oil changes and having to fit with the oil return line every time you need to change the oil. power with after cooler is about 300rwhp but the comptech kit is only running a 5.5 psi with after cooler installed it would be 7psi with out the after cooler.
