Default Gears 4.77, 4.57r

Is it true that they say that 4.77 gears will keep up with a super charged s2k...Anyone have any personal opinion or have proven this as fact

4.77's on an AP2 will to a certain point. "Defender" has an AP1 with a 2.2L, AP2 tranny, and 4.77's controlled by an AP1 ecu. It was chronicled that he was right there, if not slightly quicker, with a stock sc'ed AP1 on the way back from a Fall Colors.

What will an ap1 with 2.2L and ap1 tranny be like with 4.77's?

I'm guessing slightly slower down low but a bit quicker up top. Same difference as a stock AP1 vs AP2.
