Default Glass top replacement...

So my plastic window cracked real badly today

I'm thinking about ordering one of the robbin glass windows off of eBay next paycheck. Are there any shops that anyone can recommend that can do this mod?

i guess it depends on how picky you are. i barely even look out my rear view mirror so for as much as i do it doesnt bother me. I use the side mirrors the most. the tape is clear so unless you are looking really hard you dont really see it. sometimes i forget the cracks are even there. i guess you could say that my car does live in the ghetto tho, considering all the break-ins around here lately including my house

my luck is that i would replace the top and then some asshole would break into my car by tearing the roof open.

The same thing happened to me a few months ago. Except mine was cut. But I made a claim with my insurence and used the money to buy an oem top with glass window from Hard Top Guy. I did the conversion myself. It really wasn't hard. I just used the thread bellow as instructions and it really wasn't bad. Except you'll need more rivets than what he said.

Yeah, glass is the way to go. If you can swing it, do the conversion.
