Sorry for taking so long to post back. I paid 299, which is a group buy price through Rick (http://www.ricks2k.com/home.html). Very nice quality on the DiGrappa piece.

Shank Flanker....hey buddy, thanks for the info. better late than never! I really appreciate it!

I'm sort of new to all these products. Never really tricked out anything other than my bike, so i'm pretty much a newbie to this sort of stuff, but i DO want to learn as much as i can. anything you can help me with would be awesome!

about group rates, how do i get in on that? can i go to rick's and tell him i'm a mid-atlantic member or do i have to wait till a lot of ppl want to buy again and get in on them. also, when they do want to do a group thing, do i just put my name down with them and then go to rick and tell him i'm on the list?

hope you have the time to help me out! i'm in VA too....hopefully, i'll see you around soon. maybe at the bbq in fairfax? i think i'm going to go....but not 100% yet.

I'm pretty certain I'll be at the BBQ. I don't think it will rain and the temp looks like it will be nice. I'm new to car mods myself, so I go with the easy ones first. After I read and learn new things, then I get a little more adventurous.

The group buy thing is open to the public. Basically it just means that they need to stir up enough interest to justify lowering the price. In the case of DiGrappa's X-Brace. He lowered the price by $150 or so because almost 70 people were willing to pay the lower price. If you go to rick's site, it should say 299 for a clear anodized or black anodized brace. I think you'll pay more for the fancy colors. Since nobody will ever see the thing lodged under my car, I went with the black one. I could immediately feel the tightness in the front end.
