ok first thing first...how deep is the scratch? I recommend going here first for a FREE estimate:

Detail Authority
617 Carlisle Drive
Herndon, VA 20170
703-978-7800 or 703-318-6565
www.waxmycar.com

I had a mishap when I first bought the car whereby my car cover's padlock rode up in high winds and sratched it from the drivers door handle to the side mirror. Detail Authority was able to buff the scratch out so its 99% gone. Cost me all of $75.

They will tell you if its too deep or if its on a compound curve and the clearcoat might get burned when buffing in that section etc.

If they can't help, then I recommend this body shop:

Independat Car Collision
45700-A Woodland Road
Sterling, VA 20165
Ask for Mark Gomez
703-421-9990

Mark just repainted my front and rear bumpers and took out some minor chips, dings that the previous owner had made in the car. The bumpers look awesome. His shop is super clean and he is a nice guy. Again, free estimate.

Good luck.
Chris

Details here

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=278323

Raja emailed me some pics of the clear bra peeling off damage from a beemer, VERY IMPRESSIVE.

Hate to nag the board about this all the time but my car has barely over 500 miles on it and if I wait too long I might hit some asteroids and acid bugs. Anywayz we're gettin' close to discount level 1....
