I think he means 85 in a 55, wreckless in Virginia is anything 20mph over the posted speed limit or anything above 75mph.

imho since you were no doubt speeding, the best you can do is negotiate for improper driving or speeding. even the cheapest lawyer can do that. i paid $750 for a negotiated citation and i wish i had just paid $350 for the same result.
