^^^ Well, there you have it...from the voice of experience. Get a lawyer. Don't think about it, just get in the yellow pages, or contact the county indicating you need legal assistance. Don't think about it...get on it now!

Sell the car -- Then you can afford a lawyer. As an added bonus, you'll no longer be raped $570/mo for insurance anymore. You need a lawyer for reckless these days. You do remember the Civil Penalties enacted this summer, right??
RECKLESS DRIVING.
Note the missing "w" people!
EVERY SINGLE TIME this comes up half the people spell it wrong. And it grates on one's nerves. I'm not typically a spelling nazi, but *grrr*
And yes, sell the car, get something reasonable and even a beater, take the driver improvement whatever and use all that as evidence that you're not realllly an idiot likely to do it again. In front of the judge... with your lawyer.

Black's Law Dictionary defines recklessness in American law as "Conduct whereby the actor does not desire harmful consequence but...foresees the possibility and consciously takes the risk," or alternatively as "a state of mind in which a person does not care about the consequences of his or her actions." Black's Law dictionary 1053 (Bryan A. Garner ed., 8th ed. abr. 2005). In civil court, a wrongdoer who recklessly causes harm can often be held to the same liability as a person who intentionally does so.

My wife works at Livesay & Meyers in Fredericksburg, but they have an office in Woodbridge as well. The number is 540-370-4140. My wife(Janet) will likely answer the phone. I'll tell her she might receive a call from an S2000 owner. I have no idea on the rates. Usually they depend on the offense.
PS. My wife is not a lawyer.

I echo the "sell the car" comments other posters have mentioned.
I respect the fact that you're not trying to blame others for your infraction and recognizing that you shouldn't have been speeding (that's a much more mature attitude than I've seen many take to these kinds of things around here), but I really think you want to take a look at your financial responsibility as well.
It sounds to me like the $570 a month for insurance (which is going to go up A LOT after this) plus whatever you're paying for the car is putting you in a financial spot that is making you too broke to even be able to afford legal representation.
I know it seems worth it and that having a sweet ride right now is one of the most important things to you (I think I bought my first tuner car at 19), but it really might be better for you to look for something a little bit less expensive (both in car value and in insurance cost) to play with for a few years. Once you make it into your early twenties (especially when your insurance drops at 25), you'll find that you'll not only be able to afford the cars you want, but afford to modify them the way you want and afford the resulting insurance with owning the car.
Just some helpful advice because I think the Civil Remediation fees you're going to get slapped with, combined with the increase in insurance is really going to put you in a position where the best option will be to move to a less sporty car for a while.
Best of luck to you!
