My guess is an Oxygen Sensor.

The gas cap is tightened Tom, and yea, I guess I have to scan it. And the CEL is NOT blinking.

From my understanding, the CEL is only supposed to come on when things fail that are emissions related. Plugs, wires, fuel, exhaust ect. that should narrow it down a bit.

Understand that simply tightening the gas cap (assuming that is the thrown code)...does not 'turn off' the CEL. The CEL has to be reset...either by use of the code reader, or by pulling the (+) lead from the battery terminal & waiting a few minutes prior to reconnecting to the battery. Note: If you have a stock radio, you'd want to know the radio code in order to reset it later prior to pulling the battery cable.

Actually, the ecu does reset itself. it just takes awhile like a few days and multiple turn offs/ons.
