Help! Check engine light!
So this morning I started my car to go to college and I noticed the check engine light came on. So I checked my clutch pedal and all my fluids, and any wires, and the cold air intake and the exhaust manifold and all that stuff, and nothing was wrong, so I drove, and the gear changes were fine, the engine was responsive, the steering was responsive, and the sound all together was normal. It sounds fine. It feels fine.
So really, is anything even wrong? It is running fine, and my oil levels are fine. Everything is the same, apart of the check engine light in the dashboard.
Is it a fluke? I even had to fellow s2k owners look at it, and they did not find anything wrong.

Take it to an autozone. They'll scan the code for free. Could be a million different things without knowing the code.
My mother goes there once a week to reset her VW, because she doesn't tighten the fuel cap.
First things first...if the CEL is blinking then do not continue driving your car
...
If it is *not* blinking, and as you noted, all else seems fine...then as advised, drive it to an AutoZone for a CEL check.
When you receive the code from them (they can seldom 'tell' you what is wrong...just give you the code(s) thrown)...then check the codes against this UTH sticky
Good Luck!

You should own an ODB-II anyhow. They are about $100 plus or minus a bit. Mine has paid for itself many times over.
