Help me decide..
The TL is being sold. Just not enough to have three cars. Plus it will free up some cash for other things.
I've been trying to hold out and get a BRZ STI if they ever launch the car.

To each his own. There are more reasons not to own an S2000 than there are reasons to own one. People like us though ignore the reasons not to. I completely agree about having the comforts of a standard car, and I was starting to get tired with the quirks of the S2K after 3 years, so I ended up with a daily driver. The main job of my Elantra (aside from transportation) is to make the S2000 much more fun on the days that I do drive it, and it does that job very well.
If you can't keep the daily driver and own an S2000 for financial reasons, maybe look into a Miata. It's an S2000 with a few less perks, a good bit less excitement, and a lot less flaws.

I think the S is fine as a daily driver, you just have to be realistic with your expectations. I think having a second car/beater for the winter is a great way to have a break from it for those days you just need an appliance to get from point A to point B.
In my personal opinion, S2000 isnt a great daily driving car.... I would recommend buying a daily driving car before purchasing S2000. I bought my S2000 as second car, more likely weekend car.
