I say he should increase downforce up front, decrease weight in the back, put stiffer rear springs in, stiffen the rear swaybar, and run bald tires in the rear. That should fix it

, but if he does, may I suggest a CG-Lock to go along with that?

Thanks for all the replies. The last three were the most helpful . I am going to get the car aligned with UK specs and see if that helps. I may consider different tires in the spring when I take the winter use all seasons off.

I just can't believe 2 inches of contact patch would make that much of a difference (S02 vs Goodyear Eagle F1s). But maybe so.

Take it easy, killa. We like to joke around here. You had received plenty of responses that were helpful.

Btw, please be sure to get a printout of both "before" and "after" alignments, and then share them with us.

I didn't mean to offend you.

An honest reply is; I have never had that feeling in my AP2, even on track at speeds of 100+, unless the car becomes unloaded while between turns. It is stable at speed on the Bridge Straight at Summit Point (Shenandoah circuit) even when it is unloaded and loaded again. That is with stock tires and suspension.

I definitely agree you should start with an alignment. I hope that helps.

Of all things that effect a cars handling.

TIRES are by far the most important. Shocks, sways, wings, have less effect than proper tires.

But get a alignment first, some cars had poor factory alignments. Get the before and after readings. Post here so people can see.

IF the problem persists, change tires.

After that could be a blown shock, look for fluid on the body.
