how to get dealer to replace top

just use tape and black spray paint...
and you'll never notice that its there to begin with

Until the g/f does it again and makes a bigger hole.....

I see a slashed top and a attempted insurance claim coming..... Damn my rates are gonna go up again.......

^ I used tape on mine for a bit when I had 2 holes in it. You making fun of my solution?

Yep, have tape on an increasingly larger hole right now, waiting another month or so to order a new top with glass to replace it with. If it was just the hole I would patch it and move on (back window was still crystal clear), but I folded the top down and slit the window a new one several months back.

Since your car is fairly new, how about going to the dealership that you bought it at and talking to the service guy that is assigned to you and just tell him you're an idiot and messed up your top and if he could help you out. Simple as that. At least you fessed up to it and they might fix it for you since you bought it there and wnt to keep you a satisfied customer. Some service folks bend over backwards to help satisfy a customer that bought a vehicle from their dealership. And if that doesn't work then I guess you'll just have to scour the for sale forum for a new top.
