I run 75% distilled water and 25% coolant with water wetter. My car only overheated on last run of day 1 (with a 200+lb student in the the passenger seat) but when I pitted in the coolant was boiling. There *appears* to be some crude in the coolant overflow tank which could be liitle bits of floating oil.

Car runs fine and I added some more water wetter and Barrie and I both ran it hard on day 2 and we had no problems (ran a 3:23.xx). Still, I think I want a shop to check and make sure the head gasket is intact before tracking it again. Koyo radiator has already been ordered.

??????

What track?

was that in 1st gear??

did you mean 2:23?

did you mean you drove a mazda 323?

I just sent Jeff and e-mail saying I will back out of instructing unless the situation is dire in which case I will instruct but not drive on Saturday. When I hear back I'll know if I will be attending.
