If your statement is you'll loose more "pounds" than you gain "horsepower" then I agree. But I don't think the weight loss will equate to a horspower gain as much as in exhausts that have more than 5 hp gains across the revs.
But a lighter car also helps out in the corners, so maybe the weight loss is more valuable to some.
I know he didn't mention high end but for a couple hundred more than the Greddy SE he could have a remanufactured ASM 70, with high end gains.

Hmm this complicates things.
So Comptech, is out ( I guess)
That would leave the Greddy SE Dual, and the hks hi....
So all around, in the grand scheme of things, which is the better exhaust? And I mean in terms of EVERYTHING, other than price.

If I were looking for an exhaust neither of those would be on the list.
If you wanna spend 1k-1400 on an exhaust there is a plethora of options for you to choose from. I would not exclude used either. Some of the best deals to be made will come from a used exhaust.
for a combo of sound/weight/power I'm going with j's/t1r/challenge if you wanna stunt on em I'd go amuse but thats only if you wanna stunt on em. As you can tell C ory be stuntin on em.
