I will find you guys some good roads in Southern Maryland so that you can probably never use them. LOL. I feel isolated I will say that I have been on some cool roads in Western MD and Northern VA. Not in the S though

Yeah, this weekend, I went out Frederick/Washington Counties and found some good roads. I am definitely down for driving an hour or so to get to some good roads.

Joplin Rd in Dumfries/Quantico is a good one. A lot of motorcycles though, cops too sometimes. Alot of the roads through Clifton are pretty good. Not many cops back there ever. Lorton Rd is fun too, it's a short road but still a fun drive. Overall though I do like your idea. I have to agree with the others though, I wouldn't watch the videos of someone else taking a "sunday cruise", I would watch someone going balls to the wall though . Just my 2 cents

Yeah, that's understandable. I know the vids would likely be boring, but for those that are interested, it would at least give them a chance to preview the drive and see if it's worth it for them to take the time to try it out.

Or you could have a rating system based on the number of turns per mile, average speed, lack of traffic, paired with changes in elevation and also scenery.

On second thought that sounds too complicated. A video might be a better idea.

If you are serious then somebody will have to derive a "formula" that can be applied to any road and gives an accurate and consistent rating. That way, all ratings from all members are based on the same scale and are proportionally rated to each other. If that makes any sense...

I like this idea, I dont know if I would look through the video's but it would be great to have a list of twisty roads sorted out by area, with the details etc...
