From what I understand, there is no exhaust law (just emissions); however, there is a noise ordinance that I got written up for in my subaru. I think it's something like 100dbs at 50 feet or some shit.

Hey 4theheckof_it,

If you could get us the low down on what MD law is on exhausts I know we'd all be very grateful!
If he was a cop then shouldn't he know if it's law or not? Why is there a need for more researching?
All I see from him is a post about CrazyCracker losing and getting his IQ back.

Um because he spent a number of years as a police officer, and I have seen him provide advice in other threads on matters similar to this that has been most helpful to people in this community.

I believe that he was an officer in Virginia, but he had offered in a previous post in this thread to look into what MD's laws may be.

So to answer your question he wouldn't necessarily know if it was law in MD or not seeing as how he was not a police officer in MD.

Some people do have that "selective reading" don't they. If you read my post in reply to crazy cracker's post, it was meant to be offensive to the shop he talked to. Not him. Reading comprehension is a good thing. CrazyCracker has met me and knows how I am. Alot of folks have met me and know how I am. If you want to take offense for him, then be my guest. I could really care less.

As for if how come I cannot answer right away about MD law. As previously stated before, I was a police officer in VA. Not MD. It all unfolds now doesn't? Seeing that now I am neither of those and have gone federal, do you really think I know every law in every state? I don't think so. If you'd like to contest the validity of my past, you are more than welcome to. I could care less on that note also. Some folks on this board do know me, and I really don't have to explain anything to you on IF I was a police officer or not.
