Default I'm in the market for an 06 Accord Sedan VP Auto.

Hi all. I'm still debating between getting a used AP2 S2000 or a brand new 06 Accord sedan.. I just LOVE the revised rear end on the 06 Accords.

Anyways, if I can get a good enough of a price, I think I might pull the trigger and get the car pretty soon. I know that we have several Mid-A members who work for Honda and I'm not tryin to play dealer ping pong or pit one dealer against another or etc etc. I just want to see what kind of reasonable and good deals I can get on a new Accord in the region.

The quote I got from Open Road Honda of Jersey was 16,700 including freight. Is it reasonable to expect a similar deal around here? I know that OpenRoad sells lots of cars at really low prices. So basically I guess I'm trying to get an 06 Accord VP Auto for 17,500 out the door. Thats how much an 06 Sonata GLS V6 costs (which I'm very tempted to get, and probably will if I can't get a deal on the Accord), but I'm willing to "downgrade" to an Accord VP from a V6 Sonata because I really really love the styling on the new Accord. I got my brand new 2003 S2000 through this forum 2 and half years ago from AndyP. I won't ever forget the night I brought her home. LOL.

Ok so anyways, if you read this and have a white 06 VP auto sedan and think you can help me out, please PM me. I'm willng to drive to Richmond or Maryland or wherever within a 150 mile radius.

Thanks !!

I got no qualms about buying an "American" car or a Hyundai anymore. LOL.
How about a Kia?

You came to a "Honda" website asking if you should get an Accord or a Hyundai, what did you expect?

Ignorant? Okay here's a smiley. It was a freakin' joke. It's not my $$ WTF do I care.

Are the resale values in 4 years going to be the same? Accord vs. Sonata?

I am currently driving a loaner, Accord EX V6 Coupe and it is an unbelievably nice ride. I would buy one if I could. It drives smooth and excellent leather appointment with XM radio. Wow! It looks sharp too. I haven't seen a 4 door sedan but I can tell you, I like this car. Good luck!

Yo dude please.. Let's not get off topic or breed hostility. I apologize if my reply to your quote sounded offensive. I didn't mean to. I even said I call some of my good friends ignorant jackasses. If you read my post carefully you'll see that I didn't ask if I should get a Honda or a Hyundai. Well anyways I might wait til spring and go for a used 02 or 03 s2k. A sonata is only a hyundai and thats why you can pick up a fully loaded accord EX v6 equivalent for 20k out the door. But I'd still get an Accord if I had the extra money but its not because I can't trust the hyundais. I'm just a hard core accord lover.
