at 18, your insurance rate is going to be high, regardless of what you buy. An S2000 as a first car, and at that age, is going to be very expensive, even if you do have a perfect driving record.

you paying cash? or finance?
cash you can just put liability
finance the lender will require full coverage

Well, either way you might want to get full coverage. BTW, i worked it out with progressive where they will cover every aftermarket piece i have that i can provide receipts for. SO that comes to about 30K bucks i am covered for and its only 90bucks more every six months. I am sure other companies will do the same so all you car tweekers out there check into it.
