only way this will be reasonable for you is to buy the car and ask one of your parents to register it in their name, and join their insurance policy instead of starting your own. if you're buying the car, i'm sure your (desi) parents would offer the favor of putting it in their name and going on their policy, since you'd be paying for it anyway.

i'm on my parents' policy insured to drive all 4 of the cars without stipulation and it's like $500 every 6 months for me.

Luxury Trim Alloy & Leather On Gearknob...

I wouldn't put Kyle on my insurance if he wanted to buy an S2000. If it were a more reasonable/practical/safer car, then I most likely would. He will not own a street bike while under my roof either. And I like motorcycles.

I am 17 and just bought my first s2000, my dad agreed to put the insurance under his name, and i pay 94 a month...so thats like 576 every 6 months...not too bad? I also have a perfectly clean driving record for the last 1.5 years.

Man, I wish I could've afforded an S2000 at age 18!! I had to wait until I was 30! I was driving a real P.O.S. at age 18 - man, times have REALLY changed.

I pay $77/month full coverage on my S; dual car policy with my beater 93 Accord for a total of $100 for both cars a month. I'm also a homeowner and clean driving record...

Preach on, brutha! I think I was in an Olds Omega, orangish and of a 1975 vintage with steel-studded tires.
