Just Purchased 2005 S2000!
Thanks to everyone who answered my questions and gave me opinions.
I've got excellent news. I just purchased a Silver 2005 S2000 with the black/red interior from Brown's in Arlington. 10 miles on the odometer. Whew!
I'm looking forward to meeting everyone at the group rallies.
New questions:
1. How do I become a member here?
2. Any recomendations on break-in period?
Cheers,
Marcus

Congrats on the new purchase. Keep it under vtec for about 1000 miles and your ride should last as long as mine. I have about 103,000 miles on mine now.

Congrats on the S2000 and Welcome to Mid-Atlantic
If you click "MyS2K" on the top you should be able to scroll down on the left to "Purchase Membership". Its a very small fee and really goes a long way towards helping S2Ki grow in the future!
Again welcome, looking forward to meeting you at future get-togethers.

Congratulations on the new car. Welcome to the Mid-Atlantic as well! A couple pointers:
1. Be very careful driving when it's below 40 degrees out if you've got the stock tires on the car. They're summer tires, so the rubber compound they use doesn't grip well in colder weather. (just ask Aze85)
2. The oil that your car has in it now is a special "break-in" oil that the factory ships your car with. That should stay in for your first 5,000 miles.
3. Have fun when driving. That's what this car is all about.

That's wild...
I was just there last night... My girl was trading in her 99 Passport (she bought a brand new 06 Civic).
Saw the car in the showroom... You must have been there at the same time!
Congrats on the new whip! See you at the meets... - Jeff
