Knocking noise in Engine - Where to take it
I read through all of the posts in the Rate area Service dealers, and came to no conclusion. So i'm going to make a new post. My MY2001 (its one right in the middle of the bad #4 cyl batch of engines) is making a slight knocking sound. It resembles the sound that an older Small Block Chevy made when the water pump would go bad (I used to be a mechanic in a past life)
I usually take my S to Leesburg Honda, but they don't seem to have much expertise with the car. I work in Tyson's, but there seems to be a mixed bag of reviews on Rosenthal.
Any opinions on who would be the best in the area? Did anybody get a new small block replaced at any NoVa dealers? I did read Barry's post on #4 failures, it seems that only one was replaced at the College Park, MD dealer.
And Please do not reply about sales experiences., I don't want to hear sales experiences. I can go on about Leesburg Honda and Toyota, and Brown Fairfax nissan etc sales dealings stories.
Thanks for any help.

dsvtec - Are you still under warranty? Either way, give Cliff a call. He's the service advisor that'll link you with Eddie. Just tell him your situation and you can bring it in and speak directly with the S2K Doc.
I think Eddie will be busy all week though, but give Cliff a call anyway.
