Driving near the intersection of 28 and the Dulles toll road when I get a barrage of rocks thrown up at my car. They had just finished paving half of the road and were nice enough to leave behind a ton of rocks. I was worried about dings, but later I notice a little 9inch(!) crack on my windshield. A rock hit really low on the windshield, too low to see from inside the cabin, and it spread before I knew it was there. So, does anyone know of a good local replacement company?? I stopped by the Honda dealer in Tysons to ask who they use for glass and they gave me a company named Star Windshield.

Add this to the list of crap I have to deal with this month: reckless by speed court case a week from friday, photo radar ticket in DC (actually it was my wife), parking ticket for expired tag on wife's car at Reagan Airport when I wasn't even parked (was just dropping someone off), now a cracked windshield, what did I do to offend the gods?

 

Mine was replaced by Banner Auto Glass and they did a good job. However the rear view mirror was placed a bit higher than before...
