And Yellow Streak has said that some S's have run at VIR w/o tops or bars. They tell you that you can't race again w/o that stuff. He believes he's seen the same guy there a couple of times w/ no changes.

i know also that at summit, you can just show up with no reservation at FATT and they will almost always fit you into a group.
i think that going in with another group to rent the track is a great idea. we would probably get alot more seat time that way.

I know that VIR let us run in the Z club if we had a hardtop on... Also the quick fix for the guys who didnt want a permanent rollbar in the back was to get a bolt on model. Any chance you guys in the S have this option??

Because it runs about $5000 + EMS crew + insurance + you have to book close to a year in advance.

How 'bout we do it next Saturday?

There are many clubs that have track days....there's Mazda club, and MB

Then there's Car Guys and NASA. There are many more organizations than just BSR that can get you onto Summit.

I think you will also find that once the new Shenendoah track at Summit opens later this year that FATT's will get a whole lot less crowded as there are plans to run events on both tracks simultaneously.

Wow! Great interest so far! So what and where are Summit and VIR? I guess it doesn't really matter. How much do you think it would cost if we just crashed someone else's party?
