Yeah, it's amazing how long my stash of stuff has lasted this time. Wonder why?

When we had the fluid change day at John's (Revenuer) house we used:

Transmission: AC Delco Syncromesh 10-4014
Brake: Ate type 200 DOT 4 boiling point of 536 F and wet boiling point of 392 F
I'm not sure what we used for the diff but John can fill you in on that if you pm him.

After changing the fluids there was a drastic change on how the car felt. It was a hell of alot more smooth in all directions.

And I use Amsoil for my oil. That stuff rocks. Good thing I have two places up here that I can get it at. In Baltimore you can go to Salvo's and in the Nova area you can get it at Fairfax Auto Parts.

Since you're under 20k and haven't tracked(have you?), there would be no need to flush yet. Bleed maybe.
Haven't tracked yet. I wanted to flush and replace with fluid that can withstand higher temperatures before tracking it. Not to mention it's scary to track your daily driver...

We did use the LE-607 that Skip and I mentioned earlier. That stuff was THICK.

If all this talk is related to "doing fluid changes" at Mid-A Mod day... Ummm, please consider having suitable containers to store/carry off used fluids. We don't need to be jacking D-22 up with a buncha oils that need carting away. And you'll want to have a container that won't spill/leak in your own trunk when you tear outta dodge and go, "Oh shit! , now I have a trunk full of oil "

Just plan ahead

How's that? If you've not tracked your daily driver how would you know? Drive within yourself and don't get swept up in worrying what other cars are doing.

Tracking on stock fluids is okay. There were many drivers at FC that tracked completely stock. They weren't trying to rape a banshee or anything. I would recommend fresh, upgraded brake fluid though. Then again, not too many folks can cook caliper paint.

AC Delco = GM Synchro FM. I actually have the AC Delco label on my shelf.

Amsoil(top-o-line kind) = also.

32 oz. Gatorade/Powerade bottles work nicely.
