When you use the LE-607, you'll find it flows a bit better if you leave the bottles in the sun for a while before trying to push it into the differential. If the sun isn't out, fill a bucket with hot water and place the full (unopened) bottles of oil in the bucket to warm the oil. The stuff will still be pretty thick, but it does seem to help a bit (tried it once with cold oil and it was a real pain).
When you get ready to do the diff and tranny order new crush washers - they are cheap and will help keep the fluids in place. Hardtopguy has the washers. The other thing we did on the tech day was to make sure we could remove the filler plug before pulling the drain plug. No one had any problems getting the fill plug out at my tech day, but better safe than sorry.
I use a big syringe I got from Griots to put the fluid in the tranny and differential. It would be a real pain to do it without some sort of device like that.

Your suggestion of removing the filler plugs is spot on. I actually do it to keep the fluids flowing out smoothly instead of pulsing out. I haven't however, switched out washers, save one time. I simply just flip 'em over.
