mtnce req'd light & steering wheel pull braking
Questions:
1. unrelated to the light, have any of you guys ever experience steering wheel pull when braking to a stop? It seems to only happen to me on uneven pavement in the city. Is that normal?
2. Maintenance req'd light - do you guys get all schedule maintence done at Honda dealerships? see my thoughts below:
I'm at ~9,700 miles right now. I looked in the owner's manual regarding the light and it basically says I need the scheduled maintenance.
I changed my diff fluid and oil at 4k. Changed my oil again around 7k. I had my vehicle state inspection 1 week ago.
The recommended service appears to be:
1. replace engine oil filter
2. check front and rear brakes
3. check parking brake adjustment
4. inspect the following:
-tie rod ends, steering gear box, and boots
-suspension components
-driveshaft boots
-brake hoses and lines
-all fluid levels
-exhaust system
-fuel lines
Should I bother with it or just turn the light off myself using the instructions in the owner's manual?
Peace,
Marcus

Maintenance required means nothing. Just a reminder that you need an oil change. It usually turns on every 2500-3000 miles. The pulling while braking depends on your suspension/alignment. My car is lowered quite a bit, and with that I have a lot of camber. The car tends to go with the road because of the camber. Other then that I would check tire pressure.
hey my main. reqd. light came on a few miles ago too. i changed my oil myself last time, but before that i had it done at Honda. I am assuming its just because its about time for an oil change again.
can someone tell me how to turn that light off? my brother said there should be a reset button somewhere but i dont see one.

1. Turn off the engine.
2. Press and hold the TRIP button, then turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
3. Hold the button until the indicator goes off.
Good luck man,
Marcus
