mohahaha.. MOOOHHHAAHAHAHHAA.... moha ha... .ha......-_-

i have NO idea what i was just doing.. Anyways...

This mod is very easy... you just gotta get enough smarts to figure out if you want to do this or not.............since i dont have any and always seem to have false courage from somewhere within me..... i do things like that. Cutting my hood.. taking out my soft top, reinstalling WITH NEW top....

now that i think about it... i cant tell the difference from smarts or balls........maybe both puhahaha

depends what you consider worth it to be, would I cut my own hood? Hell no, but I'm the same guy that refuses to roll his fenders so I can drop the car lower. If your going for "the look" then go ahead. If you think it will perform the same as a vented hood from a manufacturer, then I think you would be wrong. I have a vented silverstone one in my garage collecting dust, but its vented on the hot side of the bay only.

Looks like a great idea, Love the intake in that car - PRM style? I've never heard one but it looks cool.

Vented hood seems like a great mod for an s2000. Personally I'd save up and do a carbon fiber vented hood for the summar and in the winter put the stock back on because snow, ice, salt...sand grime in the engine bay

s2000s keep their engine bays so clean...don't ruin it!

i drew the lines on the inside and gave the body shop the vents, they did the rest. i dont have air tools on hand so this was my only option. i love it. i still have my stock hood in storage as well.

ff2skip will come in here and will down talk it. honestly do what you want. i think my set up looks great. CF hoods weigh more unpainted and fit liek garbage.

i did it cuz i was cheap. hahaha.. and something about the oem hood that i liked... it was already painted, and just putting holes with grills made it look good to me.

you can see when i'm stopped all the hot air coming out. pretty neat to watch.
