Update. It appears that there was an issue with UPS and a damaged box...hopefully the wheels are ok. David is working to get it squared away with them and is going to update me soon.

Did the tracking he sent you ever get updated with a pick up time?

No the tracking info that came initially was an update that a shipping slip was created. I have no tracking numbers for the rear wheels or tires. He said he will have them tomorrow and will find out if there is any damage.

The tracking number should have been on the slip. Did he not send that to you? He should have given you tracking numbers the second he shipped, or better yet, the second you contacted him asking where the wheels were. Call/text/email him tomorrow and get info one way or another. If he fails to comply then talk to your credit card company and then work that out. I'd like to think he just got caught up in something and is telling the truth but you have already waited a very long time.

I spoke with Dave. Two of the boxes were misplaced by UPS. When they were recovered, the boxes were noticeably damaged. UPS is sending those two boxes back to Dave for him to inspect for any damage to the wheels. I'm confident Dave will take care of this transaction whether it's shipping out the two wheels if they are not damaged or issuing a refund to the seller if the two parties cannot work out an agreement.

And before anyone asks why communication between the two hasn't been better, don't ask me why. I have no clue. I'm just trying to diffuse the situation as best as I can.

He sent me pics of the wheels he got back from UPS, and they were supposed to be sent out out yesterday so I am waiting on shipping info.

Update:
So I have received notification that one shipping label for a 30lb package has been created as of this morning, not last week as indicated, and that UPS does not have the package at their facility to begin shipping. I asked about the info for the other wheel and the tires and hope to have something back soon. Once i have confirmations I will let you guys know.

Update:
I receive tracking info today and it looks like the wheels will be here on Friday. So a step in the right direction, just waiting on info on the tires. It looks like I'm close to resolution .
