Default NEW CAR WITH ISSUES

Hi,

I purchased on April 1st, (my dream car) a 2002 Berlina Black S2000 with 36,000 miles on it. The excitement was short lived. After putting about fifteen miles on the car, my engine light (MIL) came on. I took it the local Honda dealership I purchased it from, to have it checked out. They told me that it needed replacement plugs and a valve adjustment. After completing the work, the dealership calls me, to tell me to pick it up. When I pick up the car the check engine light is still lit. I take the keys back in and tell them that the light is still on. I am then told by the service reps. that I need to leave the car for an additional day, so they can cold start it and drive it (hoping that may provide some insight.) Well this is day three without my new (to me) car, and the dealership still doesn't know what to do to rectify the problem. Has anyone had this same experience with their car? For reference the misfire caodes were 301 302 303.

At this point I am feeling really discouraged in the dealerships ability to fix this problem.

What would remedy the problem? And why hasn't the Honda service department been able to fix this issue?

That is what I am afraid of. I have owned this car for six days now. Three of those days, it has been in the shop.

Was it certified and some sort of warranty on it?

The manufacturers warr. expired. But the dealership warranty is good for 90 days on mtr, trans., etc. So right now they this is their expense. I am wondering if this is going to turn into MY expense.
