I do... I thought that was part of the UK alignment.

Toe is bad for street cars because it kills tires.
zero toe for the rear is not fun to drive.. at all.

UK does not call for 0 in the rear- it does for the front.

I'm sure it'll say 1/16" to 1/8" total toe-in. The only other difference that I could think of might be the FSB and bump and rebound settings.
I thought it was .20 per side with a total toe of .40"

Yea, you're right Pete. Like I said it was just a thought that ran across my mind and then out the tips of my fingers without any real thought.
I understand the thought, the practical reality is another matter.

There are a LOT of autoX organizations around. You should be able to find some that are closer.

In the Winchester area is Mercedes.

Bowie and Frederick, MD areas we have CDC

FedEx area has SCCA

Cumberland has it's summer season

North of Baltimore you have Philly SCCA and other local clubs

NOVA is one area without a decent autoX series in part because lots are hard to find and almost impossible to actually use.

I was quoting in inches. Your numbers should be in degrees. 0.4" or approximately 1/2 inch is huge. It should be 0.40 degrees. The numbers are close though.

I believe you're correct on the degrees, however, UK toe-in is recommended as a 1/4" total.

And those are for the first two year models. People have erroneously stuck with the specs are the holy grail of street alignments. They are more than likely not optimal for AP2's as drive shafts are longer and bumpsteer was addressed.

I DO recall Toan saying something like that. I know he, for lack of a better term, jiggered with numbers after talking with me about what I wanted for the car, etc.

For what it is worth, I am VERY happy with the handling of my car as well as the tire wear. I can't believe how much I am getting out of my KDW's...

I am going to check over my records this evening and post up what my actual measurements are as well as how many miles I have put on the car since.
