Don't get me wrong. I love CDC and I know they put in a ton of work to make everything happen. But Manassas is a huge loss to me...

It was more or less just thinking out loud.
Trust me, if you are not willing to drive a little longer to attend an autoX, you are not ready to devote the kind of time it takes to run an autoX organization. There is an almost unimaginable amount of work that occurs in private behind the scenes, trust me it is sooooo much easier just driving a little longer then trying to run your own club.

Dude, are you serious? No one trailers a 28' enclosed trailer to an autox. Those guys are using trailers that weigh half as much as mine, not to mention that their cars are probably half the weight of my car.

I ain't driving my car 2.5 hrs to autox... sorry.
Most of the guys that trailer their car have fancy cobras or replica cobras. Some do have enclosed trailers but NOTHING like what you have, Skip... Your gear is way overkill for the CDC auto-x scene.

Still, it would be nice to have you come up to one of the events.

One way at that if there is no major traffic.

140 = street tire.

I thought you had 0 degrees of toe in the rear?
I do... I thought that was part of the UK alignment.

Toe is bad for street cars because it kills tires.

[QUOTE=Hobbs5313,Feb 14 2008, 09:59 AM] In case some of you autoX'ers haven't seen it, here's the new CDC index system. I like it. It should be a fun year this year.

New Index System

For the 2008 Season, CDC will be using a new index system to assign points. Points will be given based on an indexed time. We will no longer give points for raw time. As before, we will still drop the 4 lowest events.

The index will be the raw time multiplied with the following factors:

Tire Multiplier
Street Tires = 1.00
R-compounds = 1.03

Horsepower Multiplier (WHP)
Below 150 HP = 1.00
150 HP to 250 HP = 1.01
251 HP to 350 HP = 1.02
Over 350 HP = 1.04

Vehicle Weight Multiplier
Vehicle weight less than 2000 lbs = 1.02
Vehicle weight 2001 to 2500 lbs = 1.01
Vehicle weight 2501 to 3500 lbs = 1.00
Vehicle weight over 3500 lbs = 0.99

One of our 2007 award winners voiced that our generous prizes create an atmosphere for people to
