hey guys, i have been lurking s2ki for a few years now and this is my very first post. I have been in love with the car ever since it came out and now there is the possibliity of owning one. I live in NoVA and i was wondering what would be considered a good deal on a brand new 2004 s2k. I will be putting down a down payment of about 10k with the help of my parents. dont call me spoiled or anything because i will be making monthly payments and will pay my own insurance which will be over 3k a year. I geuss you can say i am fortunate rather than spoiled.

oh ya, the first time i drove a s2k was about 6 monthes ago. my brother's friend let me drive his s2k. i had a smile on my face for hours after the drive. it was..... sweet. Cruising with the top down was awesome and it handles like its on rails. one amazing car. unfortunately he downshifted wrong causing mech. over rev and screwed his motor, but i think he is going to inlinepro to get their 2.5L engine build.
Also i look forward to meeting members and going to local gatherings.

Definitely buy one ASAP. Edmunds has a "True Market Value" calculator on its website. You could try checking that out to see what a good price should be based on historical data. http://www.edmunds.com/products/tmv/

^ Pointy - I meant that some of the members who sell the cars might be in touch with him about what is available!
