Well Its that time again (and so soon ) to begin searching for someone to replace Skip (If thats possible) in the Northern and Middle portions of Virginia to help us out with our community! Keep in mind this is one of the largest s2k owner populated areas in our community, this individual will be responsible for gathering alot of folks!

Keep in mind when nominating someone that they should be:

- One who attends meets regularly at this time (should be a board member)
- Someone who you think will dedicate themselves to the community, not just take the title and stand idle!
- Someone with good overall leadership qualities

This will be up for maybe 4-5 days to get all of your opinions, and then I will go to each candidate on the list and see if they would accept their nomination at which time we will go to a vote and name your next CO.


With that said, I have nominated this person before, because he is very qualified in my eyes, Mr. Cap1 (Jeff)

I think he is placed perfect for this position and has the know how to handle it, this is my personal opinion, make your accordingly!

I thought Skip was only there for interim, and once he left, there would only 3 CO's. Perhaps I'm wrong on this.

 

The 4 CO set-up will stick

 

My position was not for NoVA. It was to be for central VA and points southwest. I failed at that. I believe the position should be filled by someone closer to the Fredericksburg-Richmond-Charlottesville area.

This is why I apologized in my step-down thread: for not helping the F-R-C region. We do not need another NoVA person. This is definitely not a knock on Jeff.

 

The decision for another NOVA & Mid

 

bighead should be taking over for the DC Metro area. He's in Rockville.

 

Richmond used to be "THE" hub. Since w1ngman's strong presence was no more, that region has dwindled. I was hoping to regenerate interest in that area, but failed through lack of attention on my part. It will never be rekindled without a presence.

 

Ill lock this thread then, and let the VA members handle this, we will see where that gets us. Im only looking out for the community here, I know where Bill lives and where he should be policing. Im not gonna go this alone, so you guys go ahead and get the interest back down there
