Dave, why don't you just get an OBDII reader and pull the codes?
I know some of the people here that have already posted are MUCH more knowledgeable than I am, but that might be the best bet before paying the cost of that tow.
Blinking should = misfire
Misfire should hopefully = a bad coil or plug (as already stated)

I once got the dreaded blinking CEL while I was driving. I was only a couple blocks from home so I got there and shut it off.
Long story short, the recall on the spark plugs had never been performed even though I had taken the car to the stealership many many times.
The high compression caused the plug to break into pieces, which eventually fell into the cylinder and scored everything.
Honda paid for me to get a whole new block and internals
I was very very lucky.

Good luck brother man!!!

the f22 long block can be swapped right in, and can be treated like an f20. But at minimum a VAFC will be needed to tune. and its faasst! But I hope it doens't come to that, unless you want it to

The superior headlight housings and bumpers respond better to the extra displacement.

On topic: Dave, there are some coil packs FS: in the swap meet forum.

As for coils...agreed. There are easily a number of non-high-$ possibilities. Just the idea of flatbedding the car 'into town' (40+ miles) to diagnose makes me shudder.

But then again, moparacker probably wins the 'long haul' award
i know someone with a trailer.
